Help improve the Bosmond.com web application and AI-assisted grant workflows. You will work directly with our product team to test, debug, and refine the tools that help nonprofits across Washington State find and win government funding.

  • Use approved AI tools to draft, create, test, document, and improve application features, prompts, content workflows, and user-support materials
  • Debug and test Bosmond.com application workflows; identify issues, reproduce bugs, perform quality assurance checks, and document findings clearly for the team
  • Review AI-generated outputs for accuracy, consistency, formatting, usability, and alignment with Bosmond product requirements
  • Assist with grant-matching, readiness-scoring, proposal-drafting, compliance, and related product workflows
  • Support product research, internal documentation, testing plans, and other tasks reasonably related to Bosmond's AI-enabled platform
  • Protect confidential information, user data, and company work product in accordance with Bosmond instructions and policies
  • Familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) and comfort using them for real work tasks
  • Strong written communication โ€” able to document findings clearly and give structured feedback
  • Detail-oriented with a quality-first mindset; comfortable identifying and reporting bugs
  • Interest in civic tech, nonprofits, or government grant funding is a plus
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and communicate proactively
  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or university program

Application Architect

Own the technical architecture of the Bosmond platform โ€” a Next.js application that delivers AI-powered grant discovery, eligibility screening, funder tracking, and proposal-drafting tools to nonprofits and CBOs across Washington State.

  • Define and own the overall technical architecture of the Bosmond platform, from data models and API design to frontend component structure and deployment infrastructure
  • Lead development of core product features including grant matching pipelines, AI prompt workflows, user onboarding, and dashboard experiences
  • Establish engineering standards: code review practices, testing strategy, CI/CD pipelines, and documentation norms
  • Make infrastructure decisions across Vercel, Supabase, and third-party APIs (Grants.gov, SAM.gov, Resend, Stripe) and ensure the system is scalable, reliable, and secure
  • Collaborate with the product team to translate nonprofit user needs into technical requirements and implementation plans
  • Evaluate and integrate AI capabilities (LLM APIs, RAG, embeddings) into grant-writing and eligibility-scoring workflows
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, security gaps, and technical debt
  • Mentor and support junior contributors and interns as the team grows
  • 5+ years of experience building and shipping production web applications
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Next.js (App Router); experience with React and modern frontend patterns
  • Experience with PostgreSQL and Supabase or similar backend-as-a-service platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to design APIs and data models that are clean, extensible, and well-documented
  • Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar) into real product workflows
  • Comfortable owning deployment infrastructure โ€” Vercel, CI/CD, environment configuration, secrets management
  • Strong communication skills; able to work async-first in a remote, small-team environment
  • Passion for civic tech, public-sector innovation, or nonprofit mission alignment is a strong plus
